Currently The BootMakers uses DHL signed for delivery to most UK and overseas addresses and in some cases Royal Mail.
All delivery is subject to availability and time shall not be of the essence. We have indicated on the Website whether or not a Product is currently "in stock" (i.e. available in our warehouse for despatch) or our estimate as to when the Product will be available for despatch. However, this is an estimate only, should not be relied upon and may be subject to change. If there is any delay, we will notify you of this and give you a new delivery time.
If you are a Consumer (i.e. a person who, in contracts to which the Consumer (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 apply, is acting for purposes that are outside his or her business), The BootMakers shall endeavour to deliver Products ordered by you within seven working days of the day of receipt of your order. If delivery within seven working days is not possible The BootMakers shall notify you of the delay and give you a new delivery time. We aim to make and deliver Bespoke boots to UK addresses within 28 days.

We may also use “cookies” to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our Website. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
You can source and install tools designed to help you visit our Website anonymously. If you do install these tools we will not be able to provide you with a personalized experience as we will be unable to recognize you when you return to our site.

We give you access to our order tracking system and you can always track an order by contacting us directly.
Personal details we receive will include your name and address and the full details of the boots that we are making for you. These include the style that you want, your colour preference, foot size, calf and ankle size and the height that you want the boots made to. This gives us a personal template for you which we can use for future purchases.
Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.
If you would like to remove your details from our customer database and mailing list please email us at email@example.com

The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
Colour variations and care for your boots
Whilst every care is taken to reproduce colours as accurately as possible some variation is possible.
Some variation in colour can occur as some specialist leathers are made in very small batches.
Your boots are handmade and any small markings or graining in the leather are not imperfections but part of the character of high quality leather.
Black and brown leather boots benefit from occasional brushing using a good quality polish.
Antiqued waxy leathers can be polished or simply wiped with a cloth.
We suggest suedes are protected using a product such as ‘Scotchguard’ and then brushed in one direction with the napp of the suede.
Pricing and Possible Mispricing
Despite our best efforts, items on our website may occasionally be mispriced. We verify prices as part of our despatch procedures and if an item’s correct price is lower than the price shown online, we will charge you the lower amount and send you the item. If the item’s correct price is higher than the price shown online, we will contact you for instructions before despatch. We cannot confirm the price until you order.
All prices are shown in UK £ sterling and include 20% VAT for deliveries made in and supplied to EU member states including the UK.
If you are ordering from outside the UK or European Union, your order will be supplied VAT free. Local import duties may be payable by you on receipt.
